"El Morrito"
Since a a lot of the human population has been wiped out, children have been forced to fight. Here is a boy pilot.
"La Avispa"
Most of the air is heavily polluted. This air craft was designed to hoover right above the creatures giving enough space to avoid attacks and low enough to avoid the smog up in the air.
"El Cangrejo"
One of the only mechs that are operated by remote. With a lens on top, a fierce claw, and a couple machine guns . This mech can't take on the big creatures but it can certainly take out those annoying smaller ones that are too quick for the bigger mechs to kill. And it's also got some hops!
"La Pulga"
A Five person operated tank. And a well rounded mech that can take out larger and medium sized creatures.

The Making of "La Cucaracha"
CGMA hosted a wonderful contest that involved a mech or environment design. The setting was a post apocalyptic earth that is roamed by mutated fearsome creatures of enormous proportions. Most of humanity has been wiped out . Most of the animals have gone extinct. So for the mech design one had the option of creating a fighting mech in which would lead an army of troops to eradicate these creatures. Or a transport mech of troops, other mechs, or ammo. And the environment was a hit of harsh reality of what earth had become.
During the exploration of this mech I had other ideas that came to mind that I wish to explore more. So for the following month or so, I will dedicate my free time in doing that. So stay tuned because I will come up with a few ground mechs, a transportation of ammo mech, environments, characters and last but not least "the creatures"
I would like to thank CGMA staff and Concept art World for taking their time to set this awesome contest. Also like to give special props to all the entries. There were so many cool works and they're all winners in my book.
